Professional Artist

I have been drawing and painting since I was old enough to hold a crayon or pencil. I am a self taught natural artist with the only formal training being the art classes in regular schools. My mother and sister are both artists and my oldest nephew is making a nice living with his talent in California. I feel that I come by my love of art from close family, but I believe my talent came from a 'higher' source and was given to me for a greater purpose.

It has only been recently that I accepted my own abilities even though everyone kept telling me to work on art, drawing and painting and use what God gave me. In watching programs on some of the Great Masters, DaVinci, Monet, and others have I began to realize that art is truly my passion. It is what I want to do to make my 'stamp' on life.

So, here I am, offering my services to all who need or want a beautiful painting or drawing to hang for posterity in their home or office. I've joined a lot of sites to promote my art and have myself listed in more places than I can even remember. I even googled my name and discovered that I can be found on several of the first pages, which tells me that if someone can't find me they're not looking. Kinda scary in a way, but I have to be available if I ever plan to sell any art. So, here I am doing a hubpage to add to my exposure and hoping that if someone out there wants art they will at least give me a chance.
